 Start of the 2011 Deception Pass Dash — what a sight!

 The paddlesports racing scene is going off! Just right here in the Northwest, look around and you’ll find human-powered racing on the water somewhere near you almost every weekend, plus informal weekday evening race series as soon as the days get longer! Check it out…

ALL = all human powered craft
Surf = paddle surfing competition, may include racing along with judged surfing skills — contact event director.
SUP = Standup Paddleboards only
OC = primarily outrigger canoe racing, but may be open to other craft. Contact the race director.
Ski = Surfskis
WW = whitewater slalom, downriver, creeking, or rodeo.
MS = Multisport with a paddling component, either team or iron.
Fish = Kayak fishing tourney!
