OR, a better solution… spend the night in a bunkhouse at Cornet Bay Retreat Center for just $20, and you’ll receive a vehicle permit at NO EXTRA COST. Saturday dinner and bunkhouse is just $25… a smashing deal! Go to the Dash registration page and sign up while bunkhouse space lasts.
Race Day Parking
There is limited parking at Bowman Bay. We’ll be parking cars on every piece of ground the ranger lets us use, but we still expect to max it out. We’ll be running FREE shuttles between Bowman Bay and the parking lot just inside the main entrance to the Park, one mile South of the bridge. Our suggestions:
- Carpool!
- Drop your boat off, check in and get your race number at Bowman Bay on Saturday. We’ll have security on hand overnight. This is a free service. Enjoy the demo & clinic day, and spend the night! Wake up rested so you don’t have to drive a zillion miles to get there!
- Arrive REALLY early at Bowman Bay on Sunday. We’ll be checking people in starting at 8am.
- If you arrive when Bowman Bay parking is full, drop off your boat and paddling gear and head for a parking spot where the shuttle will pick you up. The Park Manager asks that you use the parking lot at the main Park entrance, and leave roadside parking for other park users as well as Dash spectators.
